Our Story

Geras (pronounced GAIR-us) is the Greek personification of wisdom earned through experience. That name reflects the foundation of Geras Industries LLC: a Vail, Arizona-based federal contracting firm built on a decade of principal-level engineering leadership inside a Tier-1 prime contractor.

Founder Jon Rosario leads cross-functional engineering teams, drives Lean and A3-based operational improvements, and manages complex production and test operations. Before entering industry, Jon served as a U.S. Army Infantry soldier during Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan — the origin of the mission-first discipline that defines the company today.

Geras Industries is registered with the SAM.gov Disaster Response Registry for Arizona, Texas, and Florida — an extension of the founder's prior operational experience supporting Hurricane Matthew disaster response. This gives federal emergency contracting officers a rapid-deploy small-business partner across the American southern tier.

Geras Industries brings prime-contractor rigor to federal engagements at a small-business scale — with the responsiveness and cost structure agencies expect from a service-disabled veteran-owned small business partner.

Geras Industries serves federal civilian agencies — principally health, veterans, and general services — along with Arizona state and local government. The company does not pursue defense or aerospace contracts.
