Geras Industries LLC is a Vail, Arizona-based federal government contracting firm founded by Jonathan Rosario. The name draws from the Greek concept of wisdom earned through experience — a fitting foundation for a company built on more than a decade of defense prime-contractor execution.
Jonathan spent his career at Raytheon Missiles & Defense in Tucson as a Principal Integration & Sustainment Lead Engineer — working on some of the most critical missile defense programs in the U.S. inventory, including Stinger, Javelin, StormBreaker, and RAM AOTD. He led cross-functional teams, chaired Test Equipment Review Boards, drove Lean Manufacturing initiatives that achieved a 40% production increase and 20% throughput gain, and managed complex supply chain interfaces across multiple programs.
Before Raytheon, Jonathan served as a U.S. Army Infantry soldier during Operation Enduring Freedom and held leadership and technical roles at Lockheed Martin (radar and avionics), Triple Canopy/Constellis (DoD overseas security operations), and TEKsystems (5G quality control for Sprint). Each role sharpened a different edge — tactical leadership, systems engineering, quality discipline, and technical operations.
Federal agencies and defense primes operate best when supported by people who already know the language, the processes, and the stakes. Geras Industries exists to provide that insider-level expertise as a small business — nimble enough to be responsive, experienced enough to deliver at the highest standard.
Our Active DoD Secret Clearance is rare for a small business and allows us to engage on sensitive programs that most small firms cannot. Combined with our Raytheon background and Arizona presence near Davis-Monthan AFB, Luke AFB, and Fort Huachuca, we are positioned to serve the DoD community in a way that few new entrants can match.
